Lt. Governor Meyer Announces March 17th as Aerospace Day at the Alaska State Capitol March 15, 2021 (Juneau, AK) – Alaska is an Aerospace State and the Lieutenant Governor’s office is excited to announce March 17, 2021 as Aerospace Day at the Alaska State Capitol in Juneau, Alaska. Lt. Governor Kevin Meyer, in conjunction with the Senate Labor and Commerce Committee chaired by Senator Mia Costello (Anchorage), will be hosting an aerospace event with presentations from the Alaska Aerospace Corporation (The Pacific Spaceport Complex- Alaska), Poker Flat Research Range (UAF Rocket Range), and the Alaska Center For UAS Integration (UAF Drones). These aerospace presentations will be held during the Senate Labor and Commerce Committee on March 17, 2021 from 1:30 to 3:00pm and will be streamed live on AKL.tv. Additionally, the Alaska Chapter of the Aerospace States Association (ASA) will be launched during a virtual meeting on March 16, 2021. ###
